CULTURAL DIVERSITY DAY 2013

Cultural Diversity Day was marked on 21st May in different schools in Tanzania. Among the schools participated in the marking of this special cultural event was Msamala High school located in Ruvuma Region. This school prepared cultural activities such as, traditional cloths and cultural dances. The theme for the cultural diversity day in their school was "Our Cultures speak for the world we want" However there was essay competitions on cultural related issues.

The UN organization which is responsible for cultural affairs the UNESCO, believe that the cultural diversity day would help people to deepen understand the cultural variation and hence manage to live together in peace and harmony. UNESCO insist that, we should use our cultures to reach out the Millennium development goals for the 2015, (MDGs)
